Oh What a Feeling!

We are all excited for Ryan and Tiff's new purchase. Since the Escalade makes my Yukon look totally plastic, Kris wisely stood guard over the celebration :)

Road Island Diner

Friends Wyatt and Andrea invited us to share in this 1939 era diner experience in Oakley and it rocked! When I was a little teeny dude my dad used to take me to a diner near Liberty Park. I have no idea how the food compared, because I was happy just to be with my dad, but the food we had tonight was good enough to get me excited to go back there again. Hopefully for a couple of eggs over-easy and a short stack drenched in maple syrup. Sweet!

Manti Temple

It was a beautiful January afternoon in Manti so I took a couple of pictures of the Temple. These are views you don't get to see in the typical church photos.

What Kind of Neighborhood Do We Live In?

Luckily I have my camera at the ready nearly everywhere I go. If you lived on my street, you would too.

Do We Live Among "Jumpers"?

Please do not try this at home. These are professional "jumpers" doing what they were born to do.

Kirsten's Year Mark!!

This possum learned the hard way that you do not cross the Lord's representatives. Next is Kirsten and her companion after a hard day tracting. The third photo is proof that it rains in Southern California, and yes that is "rain" wet not anything else wet :) Next is her new companion "Samara" hmmm, and of course the obligatory photo with Santa.

I guess no one told Kirsten the Chargers' season ended badly. The next two pictures are; #1 - mature missionaries, #2 - normal missionaries. And the last photo is a view of the backyard of the house she lives in. Too bad for the missionaries who lived in 3 walled shanty's in South America.

Star Trail and Manti City Lights

This star trail was just barely to the left of the North Star. Next time I will try and focus directly on the North Star. It's harder than it sounds but when you catch it just right the effects are outstanding. And While out west of town I decided a picture of Manti from the distant would be kind of cool.
