2 Birthday Parties
Our "brown one" Elder Ah Loo had his 20-something birthday, (a higher number than we had candles) and Kylie got her present from Bret. The latest in Taiwan fashion.

Intimidation is an understatement when taking pictures for Andrea since she actually knows what she is doing, but it was the best couple hours Marsha and I have spent for a quite a while. Many years ago when I was a young Marine staring out of the door of a Huey helicopter in full combat gear I told myself nothing else could ever intimidate me. Then Andrea asked if I would take family pictures for them. Jeez.

Happy Birthday Kylie
Sunday October 19th was Kylie's birthday and she is now 17. It reminds me of a song by Carrie Underwood, Don't Forget to Remember Me, and the lines that go as follows : "18 years have come and gone, For momma they flew by, But for me they just drug on and on". I'm not momma and she isn't quite 18 but the years have definitely come and gone. Happy birthday Kylie.

Garden Week 22
It's hard to believe that 22 weeks have gone by and we're putting the garden to bed for the winter. I picked a two gallon bucket of tomatoes last Saturday before I left but then a few evenings ago the temperature plunged below 20 degrees and that finished everything off.

Two of my best friends
I don't ever remember seeing a 14 month old snarf down tomatoes like candy, but Calvin Richard isn't a regular little guy, he's a total stud.
