So far, this week in Manti has been great. Plenty of snow, shooting excellent weapons, good food, better company and fun 4 wheeling. I hope everyone has friends and family this good.
The snow this December has been awesome and it has provided some great photo opportunities. I can't enjoy my garden in December but I'd rather wear a coat than endure 95+ degree heat. And how can you beat Christmas lights under snow or a snowy night scene down our street.
Last Saturday we found a so called "Christmas Party" that I'm not sure we were invited toattend, but what the heck, next year leave your lights off if you don't want us dropping in on you Tanna! The premise was a funky sweater contest so hopefully you can guess the winner from the green John Deere hat. These pictures have been edited to protect innocent eyes.
Ok so maybe I am awarding this title of Best Picture of the Year on myself :) but after hanging unmentionable things from the rear axle of my Yukon, Bill and Don totally deserved this. Don't feel sorry for them. And if this picture takes your breath away then I was successful.
I heard on the news that the moon tonight provides the best view we've had for a while. I love my Canon 70-200mm IS 2.8L USM zoom lens. And the requisite tripod.
Ryan and Jamie asked me to take their family photos and I hope they don't mind that I posted these. Using the "shotgun" approach to make up for my lack of talent, I found quite a few out of the dozens I took that turned out good. These are three of them. The Kirkhams are easy on the eyes that's for sure.
I have been accused of tinkering with photoshop but I am an amateur as Andrea's self-prepared birthday card shows. That chick is good! I stole this from her website so check out her pictures at www.andreachristensen.com.
I had a few other pictures I was going to post if BYU won, so in the interest of fairness (which BYU fans epitomize) I am posting these instead. The U barely pulled this one off!
That is a real frog and then for Halloween Kirsten carved her pumpkin in memory of her 1 year aniversary of her run in with Bells Palsy. And as you can see from the last picture that Kirsten is past her 9 month mark!!
